Located in the transition zone from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the plain at the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and being the intersection of the diagonal line and 30 degrees of north latitude, Sichuan is bestowed with unique topography and diversified creatures by such a dramatic elevation difference from 7,556 meters to 188 meters.
