During the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Chengdu's Wuhou District welcomed a total of 791,000 visitors, generating a total tourism revenue of 811 million yuan. Among these, tourist attractions alone received 441,800 visitors, with tourism income reaching 41.78 million yuan.
Throughout the holiday, Wuhou District organized 45 unique cultural activities, including artistic performances, special exhibitions, folk displays, community cultural events, museum studies, musical performances, intangible cultural heritage experiences, and creative markets, amounting to a total of 62 sessions.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the festivities centered around four major themes at Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum: moon worship, elegant gatherings, fun tours, and trendy experiences. These immersive cultural activities promoted the integration of culture and tourism by creating new engaging scenes and experiences, driving the growth of cultural tourism and boosting consumer demand in this sector.

Yulin Folk Music Season
The “Yulin Folk Music Season” was in full swing in the Yulin area, where residents and tourists gathered through continuous musical performances. They celebrated the festival in the spirit of unity and togetherness, enjoying the warm ambiance created by folk music.

The Concert Site
Additionally, Wuhou District Library and Wuhou District Cultural Center hosted 21 online and offline cultural activities, including traditional Chinese opera workshops and the Wuhou Cultural Lecture Series. The Wuhou District Sports Activity Center organized parent-child ping pong competitions. Local neighborhoods also hosted cultural activities such as performances, park fairs, mooncake-making experiences, and stage plays, providing residents with a rich cultural experience during the festival.
