The 2024 China (Guangyuan) Female Festival and Joyful Culture Week will be held in Guangyuan City from August 26 to September 1. This event, themed "Come to Shudao Guangyuan to Crown Beauty," will feature a total of 27 activities across six categories, including themed activities, street culture events, sports competitions, and economic and trade exchanges.

The Female Festival is not only a celebration for daughters but also a grand event for the public. In 2024, Guangyuan will increase the number of public parade activities to two. These will include joyful public parades and a cosplay parade themed around national comics, showcasing traditional intangible cultural heritage like Yingge and Waist Drum dances, as well as modern animations such as "Honor of Kings" and "Monkey King: Hero is Back" blending ancient and modern, traveling through time.

Guangyuan will also launch activities such as "High-Speed Rail Tours in Guangyuan," inviting tourists to visit The World's Greatest Pass, Jianmen Pass (Sword Gate Pass), hike the "300 Long Paths and 100,000 Trees" Cuiyun Corridor, and experience Guangyuan's natural beauty and historical charm firsthand. This year, for the first time, Guangyuan cuisine will be introduced at Dahua 1939, where visitors can enjoy local delicacies, explore the vibrant Lizhou(ancient name of Guangyuan), and delight in the Female Festival.

In 2024, Guangyuan will upgrade its traditional Loong Boat Race to an international competition, with three international teams and 21 domestic teams paddling through the Jialing River, showcasing a waterborne "Fast and Furious". Ancient Shudao, Cuiyun Corridor, and marathons are attracting more and more international tourists, eagerly checking out the Female Festival.
