On the morning of June 18th, Sichuan International Alcoholic Beverage Exposition 2024 , themed "Intoxicating Bouquet, Renowned Deyang," officially kicked off at the Deyang Wende International Convention and Exhibition Center, showcasing in full the quality and strength of renowned wines from both domestic and international markets.

At the opening ceremony, leading enterprises issued the "Sichuan Liquor Declaration", and the award ceremony of the 2nd China Luzhou-Flavor Baijiu Body Design Competition, known as the "Jiannanchun Cup," was held.

According to sources, this year's Expo adopts a "1+N" model, featuring one main venue and multiple satellite venues. The expo comprises two specialized exhibition halls, the Famous Wine Comprehensive Hall and the International Comprehensive Hall. Additionally, satellite venues are set up in various districts and counties to carry out a series of liquor consumption promotion, attracting over 250 liquor enterprises from 7 countries and regions. Furthermore, the exhibition halls of the expo are opened to the public, allowing citizens to visit free of charge.

According to reports, Deyang, one of the five major production areas of Sichuan liquor, is home to 106 liquor enterprises of various types. It produces 160,000 kiloliters of high-quality Baijiu(Chinese liquor) annually, earning the reputation as "the Chinese Baijiu production area closest to the sacred water of snow-capped mountains". In recent years, Deyang has focused on establishing a "1+N" Baijiu industry system and brand matrix led by Jiannanchun, aiming to create a Baijiu production area with both global and national competitiveness, and consistently enhancing its reputation as "China's Famous Wine City".（By Zhu Mingjing and Fan Yiling ）
