CWNU is constantly expanding its educational horizons, offering courses imbued with the rich cultural essence of the region, such as the vibrant Bashu culture. These courses provide international students with profound insights into the intangible cultural heritage, revolutionary spirit, and enduring traditional values of northeastern Sichuan. Leveraging its academic strengths, CWNU has meticulously crafted a series of top-notch activities tailored to meet the needs of incoming international students. Take Du Tian, a Bangladeshi undergraduate student from the class of 2019, for instance—his passion for Chinese poetry has earned him the title of "China Hand" within the university's international student community.

CWNU has actively partnered with media outlets to showcase its distinctive cultural offerings. The university enthusiastically encourages international students to participate in program recordings by top-tier media houses such as CCTV and Sichuan TV. Collaborating closely with local media entities like Nanchong TV and Nanchong Daily, the university has produced plenty of promotional videos, which have been broadcast across various platforms both domestically and internationally.
Furthermore, CWNU takes pride in selecting exemplary international student representatives to partake in cultural and tourism activities organized by provincial-level authorities. At the grand opening of the 2022 Sichuan International Cultural Tourism Festival, the short video "The Song of Langzhong River" stole the spotlight. In this captivating production, a multitude of international students joined their voices in singing "The Song of Langzhong River" in Chinese, thereby fostering cultural bridges of friendship between China and the rest of the world.
