Opening Ceremony

The UAE was invited to be the guest of honor at the meeting. In addition to the opening ceremony, there will be six special sessions, two online live high-end interviews, and achievement display activities during the entire conference period. Among them, the themes of the live interviews are “New Scenarios and Opportunities for Power Batteries” and “New productive forces for Power Batteries: Innovation-driven High-quality Development.” The special sessions mainly involve advanced battery tech, new energy storage tech, the entire industrial chain and supply chain of new energy, quality improvement of power batteries, and safe and efficient transportation of power batteries. The display activities will showcase new technologies and products of new energy vehicles and power batteries, as well as cutting-edge application scenarios such as electric tools, low-altitude economy, humanoid robots, and electric ships.

At the opening conference, the signing ceremony of major projects of new energy vehicles and power batteries in Sichuan Province was held. As representatives, five cities in Sichuan - Deyang, Suining, Leshan, Dazhou, and Yibin - signed a total of 137 projects, with a total investment of 95.25 billion yuan.

Yibin, as the main place of power battery development in Sichuan, began to introduce leading power battery enterprises to settle in the city in 2019. It has introduced upstream and downstream supporting enterprises around the “chain leader” - Sichuan Times. With Sanjiang New Area as the core, the "1+N" power battery green industry chain ecosystem from upstream raw materials to components, to power battery cells and new energy vehicles, and then to battery recycling. Yibin has become one of the regions with the most complete power battery industry chain and the strongest supporting cooperation ability in the country. (By Gao Anni)
