On October 22, the third "Little Ambassadors · Online Exchange" — "Art Connecting Mountains and Seas: Painting a Magnificent Chapter Together" Sino-French Youth Art Competition was held at Renli Primary School in Chongzhou City.

Using a "Music + Art" interdisciplinary exhibition and competition as its focal point, the event broke down disciplinary and geographical barriers by establishing parallel competition formats for the Chinese and French regions. Categories included group performances, as well as solo singing, solo dance, solo instrumental performances and art, with the best entries selected to progress to the main competition. Ultimately, 1,035 entries from 46 schools in China and France were shortlisted for the competition.

Simultaneous interpretation in both Chinese and French was provided throughout the competition, which was also livestreamed. Group performances—including instrumental ensembles, choral singing and group dances—as well as individual performances—such as instrumental solos, vocal solos and solo dances—were presented in succession, whilst outstanding works of art, calligraphy and handicrafts were displayed one by one. A joint Sino-French judging panel assessed the entries across four criteria—performance, technical proficiency, stage presence, and the selection and creativity of the works—before ultimately selecting the winners in each category.

The "Peace, Understanding and Inclusion" International Educational Exchange Event was successfully held in Chongzhou in 2021. Its sub-project, the "Young Ambassadors: Cloud Exchange" Global Artwork Call for Entries, was launched simultaneously, attracting students from nearly 100 schools across more than 20 countries (and regions), with over 1,000 student artworks submitted in total; The second edition of the event in 2023 received over 200 entries from young people at 40 schools in China and Russia; this year marks the third edition, with a total of 1,035 entries received from young people at 46 schools in China and France.
