On 26 September, Kilian Jornet, co-founder of NNormal and a mountain endurance athlete, visited NNormal's first global flagship store in Chengdu's Taikoo Li, where he engaged in in-depth discussions with local outdoor enthusiasts about the product experience, before heading to Chengdu's Jinjiang Sports Park to take part in the NNormal Outdoor Festival.

This outdoor festival is presented by NNormal in collaboration with the Kendall International Mountain Film Festival and the Leave No Trace (LNT) China Centre. An outdoor film festival will be held on-site, using mountain footage to build a bridge for cultural exchange between Chinese and international outdoor communities; Concurrently, themed panel discussions and new book signings will take place, alongside a "Leave No Trace" workshop organised in partnership with the LNT China Centre, centred on the brand philosophy "Your Path, No Trace". The workshop will focus on how to minimise environmental impact whilst exploring high mountains, the countryside and urban parks, advocating for nature-respecting travel practices and an eco-conscious approach to the outdoors.

Having made the transition from the world stage to the Chinese mountains, Kilian Jornet has long been involved in trail running, cycling, mountaineering and ski mountaineering, and has won the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB), the Zegama Mountain Marathon and the Hardrock 100 on numerous occasions. He is also an entrepreneur, author and environmental advocate.
As co-founder of NNormal, Kilian Jornet has collaborated with the Spanish footwear brand Camper to create outdoor products, bringing his experience in mountain sports to the design and testing processes. During this tour of four cities, he will bring his decades of reflection on mountain exploration to China. His dialogue will extend not only to the outdoor community but also to university students, the wider urban sports and outdoor community, industry professionals and media partners. Through film screenings, themed discussions and hands-on experiences, he aims to establish a platform for cultural exchange between China and the international mountain community.
