On September 23rd, international influencers participating in the "China Travel · Sichuan State of Mind — 2026 Live Exploration and Immersion with Global Creators" event visited Jianyang, touring Jianyang Planning Institute, You'an Village and Gaopo Village in Pingwu Town, and Jianyang Tuojiang Grand Bridge.

At the Jianyang Planning Institute, international influencers learned about Jianyang's development from the "Gateway to Tianfu" to an "Airport Hub City," and then explored the exhibition hall of Jianyang's "Dongguan" Irrigation Expansion Project. Known as the Jianyang Irrigation Expansion Project of Phase VI of the Dongfeng Canal of the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, the "Dongguan" project took a decade to complete, which involved excavating tunnels through Longquan Mountain to bring water from the Minjiang River to Jianyang. This project also includes the completion of Longquan Mountain Tunnel, Sancha Lake, Longquan Lake, Zhangjiayan Reservoir and over 1,700 kilometers of supporting canals. Currently, the irrigation district covers an effective irrigated area of 754,300 mu.

In You'an Village, Pingwu Town, Jianyang City, international influencers visited local residential courtyards, practiced needlework at a Shu embroidery workshop, and explored the pastoral palette at the Jianyang Farmers' Painting Art Museum. At the "Gaoxiaopo Rural Academy" in Gaopo Village, Pingwu Town, participants divided into groups to make corn baba and traditional handmade mooncakes—from grinding corn to kneading dough and pressing molds—gaining a firsthand sense of the vibrant pulse of rural industrial integration in Jianyang.

On the evening, international influencers visited Shizhong Town to tour the Tuojiang Grand Bridge, a key control project on the Jinjianren Expressway. The bridge holds three world records: the world's longest-span asymmetric curved single-tower cable-stayed bridge with a twisted cable plane, the world's tallest inclined bridge tower, and the world's widest bridge deck. Its main tower stands 173 meters tall and is shaped like a "bright moon over the river."

From a decade-long project showcased in a planning exhibition hall, to hands-on craft experiences in fields and courtyards, and to the bridge by the Tuojiang River that set three world records, Jianyang's new urban and rural landscape has taken on a concrete and clear outline through the lenses of these international influencers.
