Recently, ‘Witness Development through Fuxi River · New Momentum in the Salt Capital’ Press Conference Gongjing Special Session was held at the Zigong Aviation Industrial Park. The event comprehensively showcased the achievements of Gongjing District's low-altitude economy industry, introduced several core aviation products, outlined the future development path of the industry, and fully demonstrated Gongjing District's strong momentum in seizing new opportunities in the low-altitude economy and cultivating new drivers of growth.

The Zigong Aviation Industrial Park has built two general airports: the A1-class Fengming Airport and the B-class Lantian Airport. By 2025, the airspace was stratified and incrementally expanded eastward by approximately 600 square kilometers, with flight altitudes allowed to increase to 4,500 meters under specific restrictions. The Sichuan Provincial Low-Altitude Operation Management Center has been established, and an integrated flight procedure for manned and unmanned aircraft has been launched, improving airspace utilization efficiency by 40%. To date, the park has cumulatively ensured over 270,000 safe flights, totaling 134,000 flight hours.
Zigong Fengming General Airport
Leveraging its robust infrastructure and airspace advantages, the park is focusing on building a full-chain industrial ecosystem. It has introduced more than ten ‘chain-leading’ enterprises and gathered over 60 key aviation-related companies, forming an industrial development system based on flight service support as the foundation, industrial clustering as the core, comprehensive application scenarios as the backbone, and all-dimensional resource guarantees as the support.
It is reported that by 2026, the park will focus on three major priorities: strengthening and extending industrial chains, expanding application scenarios, and enhancing service guarantees. The goals include signing more than ten low-altitude economy projects annually, opening five new low-altitude logistics routes, continuing to deepen airspace reforms, and improving airworthiness services and testing & certification systems, all in an effort to build a nationally leading hub for unmanned aircraft and general aviation industries.
