At 8:30 am on March 22, the 2026 Zigong Dinosaur Half Marathon & “Run All Over Sichuan” Zigong began with a starting gunshot at Qinglong Lake in Da’an District, Zigong City. Six thousand runners from across the country gathered to pour their energy into the race, embracing the unique charm of this thousand-year-old salt city.

Pi Te Wuga from Liangshan Prefecture in Sichuan claimed the men’s half marathon title with a time of 1 hour, 6 minutes and 26 seconds, followed by Ma Zhaojian in second place and Gong Can in third. In the women’s category, Shu Meng from Zigong took first place with a time of 1 hour, 22 minutes and 46 seconds, while Lin Chenyue and Cao Fengying secured second and third places respectively.
