Recently, the 32nd Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival begins at the Chinese Lantern World in Zigong, Sichuan province, with the theme “Lanterns Illustrate China, Building Dreams for the Future”.
Launch Ceremony
The launch ceremony presents a spectacular fusion of traditional performance and modern technology, for example, hand-dancing flying dragons performeing alongside high-altitude acrobatics, LED smart umbrella dancers dancing with AI-powered robots. Following this, the award ceremony for the 3rd Zigong Lantern Global Children's Creative Collection Activity is also held.

As a representative national intangible cultural heritage project of lantern art, this year’s festival features 11 sets of large-scale lanterns and more than 200 smaller displays across 10 themed zones in the 650-acre park, creating an immersive experience for visitors.

This year’s festival deepens its collaboration with Honor of Kings and, for the first time, partners with the brand STAYREAL to create themed lanterns and a pop-up store.
