On the morning of December 19th, 2025, the 2025 China International Famous Alcoholic Drinks Exposition officially opened in Cuiping District, Yibin City, Sichuan Province. Over 600 guests including industry leaders, experts, diplomatic envoys in China, and representatives from various sectors of the global wine and spirits industry gathered together in this event. Through exchange and mutual learning, they built consensus for the industry and explored new frontiers for development via innovation and integration.
Opening Ceremony
Titled "Yibin, City of Fine Wine · Building a Harmonious World Through Fine Wine," this grand event will last until January 3rd, 2026. This marks the first time since its inception in Yibin in 1997 that the Expo spans across two calendar years, signifying Chinese Baijiu's commitment to embracing a more open and integrated approach as it joins the global wine industry on a new journey towards harmony and excellence.
At the Event
During the opening ceremony, the '2025 Top Ten Boutique Examples of Integrated Development of Wine and Tourism in Sichuan Province' were released, and awarding ceremonies were held. The China Alcoholic Drinks Association granted Yibin the title of 'World Wine and Tourism Destination.' At the event, the 'International Declaration of Fine Wines' was released, consolidating global industry consensus on quality, ecology, craftsmanship, and sustainable development, and opening a new chapter of 'Hand in Hand Across Continents for Shared Harmony and Excellence.' An awards ceremony for the 'China University Student Wine Innovation and Creativity Competition' was also held, contributing to the cultivation of industry talent.
This year's Expo features special performances, exhibitions, and sales activities. Highlights include 'Trendy Drinks World' at Wanxiang Yibin Tiandi and 'Integrated Wine & Tourism · Yangtze River Wine Banquet' at Hejiangmen Square and its surrounding riverside blocks. These events blend fine wine tasting, trendy new beverages, local cuisine, the night scenery of the Yangtze River, and vibrant local life. Consumption vouchers are being issued at the same time to transform industrial momentum into consumer vitality and urban charm.
