On December 6th, 2025, the National Fitness Walking (Running) Championship (Sichuan·Suining Chuanshan Race) and the National City Relay Race was held at the Jiulianzhou Ecological Wetland Park in Chuanshan District, Suining City. Featuring three innovative segments—'Intangible Cultural Heritage Pass, ' 'Online Short Video Competition, ' and 'Food & Music Carnival'—the event provided nearly 5,000 participants with an immersive experience blending sports, culture, and local customs.

Organized by the Social Sports Guidance Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the event brought together representatives from local Sport bureaus in Shanghai, Fujian, Chongqing, Sichuan, Hunan, Anhui, Jiangxi, Gansu, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, and other regions to Chuanshan District, Suining. Using the competition as a platform, it promoted exchanges and mutual learning in sports culture and facilitated the coordinated development of national fitness initiatives.

The "Chuanshan Intangible Cultural Heritage Pass" was a highlight of this year's event. Participants carried meticulously designed antique-style folded passes, passing through check-in points along the route themed after local intangible cultural heritage items such as the Hu family paper-cutting. After collecting all the special stamps, they could exchange them for limited-edition travel souvenir at the finish line, experiencing a cultural journey felt step by step.
Running concurrently with the event, the online short video competition titled 'Half City Guanyin Lake · Suixin Chuanshan Journey' received an enthusiastic response. Numerous participants and netizens recorded and shared Chuanshans natural scenery, cultural heritage, and the grand occasion of the event through their lenses. During the competition, a Food & Music Carnival was also held, gathering local specialty snacks and domestic delicacies. Combined with band performances and interactive sessions, it created a lively and joyous festival atmosphere, showcasing the innovative achievements of integrating 'sports + culture, tourism, and commerce.'
