Off-camera, dozens of workers swiftly sorted, packaged, and loaded the wrapped pomelos onto two express delivery trucks. The honey pomelo harvest is now in full swing. In Pingqiao Village, the golden fruits weigh down the branches, and the air is filled with a fresh, sweet fragrance. Dozens of workers are busy picking the fruits, with an expected yield of over 500,000 kilograms.

"The livestreaming sales are just the 'appetizer.' Selling to cities like Chengdu and Chongqing is also our regular order.' This year's highlight remains exporting to EU countries such as France and Germany," said Li Congqi, the person in charge of the orchard, with pride. He revealed that the key to exporting pomelos for two consecutive years lies in standardized planting and green management. Each pomelo must undergo three rounds of screening for size, sweetness, and appearance to ensure it meets international market standards.
The thriving honey pomelo industry has brought joy not only to the orchard owners but also to the local villagers. The orchard is filled with their hearty laughter.
Zhao Xiuhua, who was busy picking pomelos, said, "I have already earned over 20,000 yuan this year." It is reported that the honey pomelo industry has helped more than 100 households in Pingqiao Village and surrounding areas increase their income.
As the sun set, trucks fully loaded with honey pomelos slowly drove out of the orchard. Meanwhile, the livestream selling in the orchard continued. The simultaneous advancement of online and offline sales allows the sweetness of Pingqiao honey pomelos to reach even further and paves a broader path to prosperity for the villagers.
