Recently, the global promotion event of the 23rd Sichuan Guangwu Mountain International Red Leaf Festival – ‘I Mail You the Red Leaves’ was held in Yu Village, Tianhuangping Town, Anji County, Zhejiang Province. As the first prefecture-level national ecological civilization demonstration zone in the province, Bazhong boasts unique natural advantages and continuously promotes the construction of an ecological civilization while enhancing the protection of the ecological environment.
Battles against pollution, emission reduction, water purification, and mountain protection have been launched one after another. By the end of 2024, the forest area in Bazhong had reached 11.659 million mu, with a forest stock volume of 67.091 million cubic meters and a forest coverage rate of 63.18%.
