Bazhong Science and Technology Museum is a modern multifunctional complex integrating science education, technology exhibitions and academic exchange. It will not only serve as a second classroom for young students in the city but also act as an important platform to showcase Bazhong’s scientific and technological achievements while providing a space for collaboration between technology enterprises and researchers.

The Tree of Science, the signature piece inspired by Fagus pashanica, is constructed with high definition LED panels and configured into unique shapes. As images on the screen change, the installation captures the majestic form of  Fagus pashanica while blending technology with local ecological themes.

There are five permanent exhibition halls arranged in a logic from fundamental exploration to cutting edge technology, ecological practices and cosmic imagination, catering to the curiosity of diverse audiences.

Cube Robot

The Secrets of Science exhibition hall on the first floor makes abstract scientific principles tangible through interactive displays such as pulley systems, gear assemblies and rotating discs.

On the second floor, the exhibition hall named lucid waters and lush mountains presents 21 displays highlighting Bazhong’s ecological achievements through technological means. By touching the Bazhong Ecological Map, vegetation coverage and water quality data from Mountain Guangwu and Nuoshui River can be observed.

In addition, the museum’s 4D cinema and educational spaces will serve as key extensions of the science engagement experience. Specialized educational films will be shown here, enhanced with seat vibrations, wind effects and other sensory features, allowing visitors to deepen their understanding of the relationship between ecology and technology through immersive viewing.
