On September 27, the Conference on New Quality Productivity and Low-Altitude Economy was held in Mianyang. Experts, business leaders, and financial investment executives from related domestic fields gathered to discuss the future of the low-altitude economy through experience sharing, idea exchanges, and themed roadshows.

The conference released Report on China’s Low-Altitude Economy and New Quality Productivity. Jointly compiled by multiple domestic institutions and universities, this over 200-page, 200,000-word report systematically outlines the industry’s current status, policy environment, and future trends. It demonstrates strategic pathways for activating airspace resources through innovation and fostering new competitive advantages to ensure healthy, sustainable industrial development.
The event featured cutting-edge keynote speeches and in-depth panel discussions on commercialization and ecosystem development. Additionally, the release of Map of “Innovation Chain, Industrial Chain, Talent Chain, Capital Chain” for China’s Low-Altitude Economy provided comprehensive reference for decision-making.
Uniquely, the conference was set in the roadshow area of Hall B at the Mianyang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Next door, exhibited high-tech products like eVTOLs/drones, ground navigation systems, and low-altitude laser air defense systems attracted significant attention. The open layout allowed attendees and exhibitors to freely enter and listen to experts discuss the industry’s future.
As Sichuan’s primary hub for the low-altitude economy, Mianyang leverages its national science and technology city status to pioneer reforms. Through policy innovation, resource integration, and technological breakthroughs, it has established a “policy support, industrial synergy, innovation-driven” framework.
