As the summer travel season draws to a close, Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area has demonstrated outstanding capacity and refined management through a series of impressive figures.

From July 28 to August 20, for 24 consecutive days, Jiuzhaigou maintained its daily maximum reception capacity of 41,000 visitors. Over this period, the scenic area received more than 984,000 tourists, an increase of over 240,000 compared with the same period last year—marking a 32.34% growth rate. This set a new record for the most concentrated summer tourist flow and posed the greatest management challenge to date.

Since July 28th, Jiuzhaigou has activated a Level-1 emergency response for tourism reception, implementing precise management measures such as "reservation + staggered visits + diversion." By fully utilizing the command center’s visitor flow monitoring and early warning system, the number of daily visitors has been strictly controlled within the comfortable threshold of 41,000. This ensures precise distribution of tourists across various attractions, boardwalks, and transportation nodes, effectively managing crowd density.  

The 24 consecutive days of safe, full-capacity operation during the peak summer tourism period have not only provided valuable experience in handling large visitor flows but have also reaffirmed Jiuzhaigou’s world-class operational and management capabilities. Building on this success, Jiuzhaigou will continue to optimize its management processes, enhance smart tourism initiatives, and deepen service quality.
