Recently, Leshan City held a conference on inbound tourism, announcing that in 2025, it will strongly support inbound tourism, with 10 million yuan allocated by the municipal and county finances for incentives. The plan is to launch more than 200 "1+3+N" featured activities, creating a year-round cultural and tourism feast for tourists.  

Leshan Giant Buddha 

For overseas tour groups in 2025, two major scenic spots, Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei, have rolled out preferential policies. At the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area, overseas tour groups can enjoy a "buy 10 get 5 free" discount for daytime mountain tours, a "buy 10 get 2 free" discount for daytime river tours and a 50% discount for the night tour of Lingyun Mountain. Mount Emei Scenic Area offers a 50% discount on full-price adult tickets for inbound tour groups, eliminating the minimum group size requirement and optimizing the application process. In addition, Mount Emei Scenic Area has launched a one-month Ice and Snow Carnival, including ice-and-snow themed fun sports games and poetry answering challenges.

To enhance the tourist experience, Leshan has installed additional foreign card POS machines and foreign currency exchange ATMs in key hotels and scenic areas. The two scenic areas have also set up "one-stop" service stations for foreign tourists, foreign-friendly hotels and payment maps for foreign visitors, providing high-quality, efficient, comfortable and safe services for inbound tour groups.

These preferential policies and service upgrades for inbound tourism in Leshan are aimed at attracting more overseas tourists and boosting Leshan's tourism industry.
