On June 27, 2025, during the 2025 Mini Series Global Outreach & Branding Conference, the cultural tourism mini-series Love in Aba premiered globally. Jointly produced by the Publicity Department of the CPC Aba Prefectural Committee, the Publicity Department of the CPC Huzhou Municipal Committee and the Sichuan Channel of CRI Online, the series released its Chinese version on platforms including 学习强国(xuéxí qiángguó), CMG Video, Douyin(China's version of TikTok), WeChat Video Channel, Kuaishou, Weibo, and Tencent Video. Simultaneously, its English, Korean, and Hindi versions debuted on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and X. It achieves cross-platform resonance across major domestic and international platforms.
Love in Aba Premieres Worldwide
Love in Aba is a groundbreaking 18-episode micro-dramas, each episode lasting 5 minutes. It is directed by renowned filmmaker Rao Kun, and written by acclaimed screenwriters Li Jing and Li Meng. The series features a stellar cast, including capable young actors, international actors, and homegrown actors from Aba prefecture, Sichuan Province. The drama pioneered the use of a culturally and tourism integrated micro-drama which is a new form to promote international outreach. Unlike traditional promotional films or overly dramatic storytelling, Love in Aba adopts a fresh narrative approach by combining "Youth Stories" with "Immersive Scenes," offering a new path for cultural and tourism storytelling.

At the same time, the drama actively responds to the China's National Radio and Television Administration "Travel with Micro-dramas" initiative. Focusing on the vibrant and positive young generation, this work highlights the immersive travel trend favored by the “Generation Z“, vividly portraying the spirit and demeanor of contemporary youth.
