On 15 February, the first Youth Science Audio-visual Popularization Conference, with the theme of ‘Lens Records Knowledge Inheritance, Light and Shadow Spreads the Power of Science and Technology’, commenced in Bazhong City, Sichuan Province. Centered on ten cutting-edge topics such as aerospace, national key technologies, intelligent manufacturing, and historical scientific exploration, the event leveraged technologies like virtual reality (VR), ultra-high-definition (UHD) imaging, and artificial intelligence (AI) to transform scientific knowledge into an immersive audio-visual feast. The conference aims to explore the integration of science popularization with cultural tourism and modern multimedia industries, further igniting young people's passion for technological innovation.

During the event, ten academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly released the "Bazhong Initiative for the National Youth Science Reading Campaign," focusing on reading habits, practices, and platforms. Additionally, the "Science Youth China Tour: Scientific Exploration in Bazhong" research-learning framework was unveiled. The Knowledge is Power Science Audio-visual Museum, which gathers cutting-edge science audio-visual resources, was also officially opened, attracting widespread participation from youth eager to explore science.

The "Science Youth China Tour: Scientific Exploration in Bazhong" framework features lectures by ten academicians on themes such as decoding cosmic mysteries, innovations in China’s high-speed railways, unlocking AI’s potential, and the uniqueness of carbon. Scientists also delivered talks on topics spanning the universe, life sciences, national key technologies, industrial innovation, and aerospace. Furthermore, multiple scientists visited local schools in Bazhong to conduct "First Lesson of the Semester" series of activities, transforming complex scientific concepts into engaging content and traditional textbook knowledge into multimedia experiences.
