With the weather growing chillier by the day, wildlife in the Chengdu section of Giant Panda National Park seems more energetic than ever. Recently, staff at the Chongzhou Management Station captured real time monitoring of rare animals three separate times in a single day—all at the same location. Among the stars of these clips were a giant panda, a Sichuan golden monkey, and a red panda, each engaged in its own delightful antics: foraging, frolicking, or even hamming it up for the camera.

Giant Panda

At 1:30 a.m. on January 4, a roly-poly giant panda was spotted ambling across the snowy terrain—sniffing here, peeking there, apparently on the hunt for a late-night snack. Sure enough, before long it found something tasty and tucked in happily.

Red Panda

By 10:25 a.m., a spry red panda appeared in the frame, meandering through the snow as though stopping to admire the winter wonderland around it.

Sichuan Golden Monkey

Then at 3:59 p.m., a Sichuan golden monkey made a quick cameo—popping into the camera’s view for just a moment before vanishing into the trees.

Situated at an elevation of roughly 2,800 meters, this particular spot lies in the heart of the Chongzhou Section of Giant Panda National Park. It also serves as a well-trodden corridor for local wildlife.

Within the Chengdu section of the park, animals roam freely under clear blue skies and radiant sunshine, savoring their snowy playground. Their frequent appearances have sent the park’s cuteness off the chart, and offer a vivid snapshot of the area’s thriving ecology and vibrant natural beauty.
