From March 20 to 23, 2025, Chengdu's Jiaozi Avenue and Ufun Outer Plaza hosted the upgraded "Spring Food & Drinks Life Festival"—an evolution of the 2024 "CFDF Global · Trendy Drink Life Festival." This year’s festival expanded beyond its original beverage focus to include craft beer and global cuisine, blending the "Trendy Beverage Zone," "Craft Beer Zone," and "Global Gourmet Zone" with citywide campaigns like "CandyPark Citywide Sweet Treats" and "TikTok Life & Food Season" to create a springtime feast for the senses.

As dusk fell, the event buzzed with a fusion of traditional libations, modern craft drinks, local Sichuan delicacies, and international flavors, driving Chengdu's "exhibition + dining" integration to new heights. Marking the 70th anniversary of the China Food and Drinks Fair (CFDF), a signature "Spring Drink Tavern" offered visitors a taste of Chinese-inspired cocktails crafted with baijiu (white liquor), celebrating millennia of brewing heritage and brand legacies.

The festival also featured Shakespeare in the Park—a musical theater production by the Performing Arts World—performing classic Broadway numbers live. At Ufun Plaza, master brewers hosted "CHEERS TALK" sessions, sharing homebrewing tips and anecdotes, while the "Gourmet Flight Restaurant" showcased collaborative dishes by cross-industry influencers.

Centered on Jiaozi Avenue, the festival connected Chengdu’s Chunxi Road, Jianshe Road, and Jiaozi Financial District with over 100 participating venues, mapping out an urban adventure for locals. Attendees could join the "Citywide Candy Giveaway" for exclusive discounts or collect a "Spring Food & Drinks Life Passport" to earn sweet rewards through venue check-ins.

Professional COSERS paraded down Jiaozi Avenue as mythical icons like Nezha (the Third Lotus Prince) and Sun Wukong (the Monkey King), interacting with crowds. Peripheral activities such as "Jiaozi Treasure Hunt," "Ascension Challenge," and "Magical Metamorphosis" added whimsical flair to the festivities.
