On December 26, the 7th "International Huaxi Wisdom Valley for Health" Industry Development Conference convened in Wuhou District, Chengdu. Guided by the principle of fostering "co-building and sharing" in industrial parks—and leveraging the high-quality innovation resources of Sichuan University's West China "One University, Four Hospitals"—the conference created a collaborative platform for universities and research institutes, government agencies, enterprises, and investors. By shining a spotlight on digital health, med-engineering integration, and AI-driven healthcare, it sought to build a complete chain of technological commercialization, incubation, and industrialization, thus spurring high-quality economic growth.

During the event, a representative from the West China Translational Medicine Industrial Park highlighted the park's ongoing optimizations, industrial development strategies, and innovation platforms, offering a multi-faceted glimpse into its unique strengths. Four cutting-edge platforms also made their debut: the "West China International Smart Valley Concept" Validation Center, the International Clinical CRO Industry Center, the High-End Medical Device CDMO Platform, and the Nuclear Medical Advanced Accelerator Pilot Platform. Their unveiling drew keen interest from attending experts and business leaders alike.

Additionally, Wuhou District inked agreements on-site with a host of high-profile partners—including Fortune Global 500 companies, central state-owned enterprises, and publicly listed firms. Eight pioneering platforms and major industrial projects, spanning new pharmaceuticals, digital health, advanced imaging, and medical trade, will now take root in Wuhou District, further bolstering the translational medicine industrial chain.

Among the conference's highlights was the public unveiling of the West China Digital Medicine Large Model, a research breakthrough illustrating how "proactive AI" can empower hospitals to achieve high-quality development.
