On November 5, the 3rd China Laser Technology Innovation Industry Conference was held in the Youxian District of Mianyang. With the theme "Light for New Quality, Innovation for the Future".

The conference, which focused on laser industry applications, unveiled the Mianyang Laser Industry Development Roadmap. Meanwhile, the Southwest Laser Industry Strategic Development Alliance, led by the Mianyang Sci-tech City Institute of Photon Technology was officially established. This alliance aims to strengthen collaboration across the laser industry, integrating resources in Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, and Guizhou, to attract and foster more companies and drive coordinated regional economic growth.
The event also included an appointment ceremony for experts in the China Science and Technology City Laser Industry Think Tank, the announcement of outstanding "Youth Science Cup" innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and the signing of investment and cooperation agreements.
Looking ahead, Youxian District in Mianyang will accelerate efforts to create a world-class laser industry cluster, striving to establish a source of original innovation, a demonstration zone for result transformation, an open cooperation ecosystem, and a growth center for industry development. The district aims to take a leading role and set an example in laser technology application and industry development nationwide.(by Qin Kang)
